Yesterday evening Œ Magazine has been launched at VOO Store in Berlin Kreuzberg.

Arne Eberle Press + Sales and Maven Design have planned and created this amazing new fashion magazine focusing on Berlin fashion scene, involving various photographers, stylists, make-up artists, hair-stylists and models agencies.
The result is this work of art: ten fashion editorials, that represent different sides of Berlin, under the fashion direction of Rainer Metz, starring labels such as Michael Sontag, Paula Immich, C-Neeon, Don't Shoot The Messengers, Henrik Vibskov, Grosser Heinrich and many many others.

We were at the magazine launch so here are the images of the funny and crowded release party!

AppleCore Cord Organizer

Here is a smart solution to handle the annoying and unaesthetic cables tangles in your home. So you don't have to hide cables behind furniture or tie them together anymore. AppleCore International realesed this stylish cord organizer spool that, with the apple core shape (of course), allows wires to be enfolded immediately. You have to choose just your useful size (small, medium and large) and favourite colour.

Charity Easter Couture Eggs in Berlin

Awaiting chocolate egg (dark!) or big wooden easter bunny as flatmate, I report this special event. If you are in Berlin today please don't miss the "Couture Eggs" vernissage. IheartBerlin, in cooperation with Achteinhalb, has asked twelve Berlin-based designers to revisit the classic easter egg for a charity auction to help children of Japan and Mozambique with the two organizations Plan and Prince of Maputo. The designers involved (Anne Wegelin, Paula Immich, C-Neeon, Esther Perbandt, JULIAANDBEN, Parsival Cserer, Burkhardt/Mollmann, Phoebe Heess, Proportion, Reality Studio and Von Bardonitz) have accepted the challenge and have created true pieces of art, exactly Couture Eggs, which will be shown today starting at 19h at Achteinhalb Concept Store. Just remember to register here to get in.
You can already find the twelve Couture Eggs works in IheartBerlin blog, which is running an online auction from18th to 22nd
of April.
Sure enough you can choose the egg that you like more and bid online.
The highest bidder may pick up the egg at Achteinhalb store from Saturday forwards. If you don't live in Berlin, the organizers will send you the work by mail.

Fashion Talent | Miriam Schaaf

I am always looking for german designers and, I must say, I get always real gratification from Munich. It's definitely an avant-garde city, churning out cutting-edge talents as Miriam Schaaf, a designer to watch. With her new futuristic masculine / unisex collection "You're A Woman - I'm A Machine", Schaaf recreates the dark-cyborg spirit, telling us a dream: an Android falls in love with a Prima Ballerina, a romantic version of the film Terminator.

You can also watch the collection fashion movie on Vimeo here.

The collection stages materials as wool, viscose, cotton and polyurethane in a few basic colors: white, black, pink and gray. And just like robots, the german designer's items can be disassembled, like interchangeable artificial limbs, making endless combinations possible.

(La collezione mette in scena materiali come lana, viscosa, cotone e poliuretano in pochi colori basici: bianco, nero, rosa e grigio. E proprio come Robot, i capi della Schaaf sono smontabili, come protesi intercambiabili, rendendo possibili infinite combinazioni.)

Striped Mood

Stripes are definitely the pattern of the Spring/Summer season. Skinny stripes, bold stripes, geometric stripes, inspired by nautical world or by '70s spirit.
There's something to suit everybody's fancy, from runaways and in every store.

(Le righe sono decisamente il pattern per la primavera/estate 2011. Righe sottili, righe larghe, righe geometriche, ispirate al mondo nautico o con uno spirito seventy.
Ce n'è per tutti i gusti, dalle sfilate e in tutti i negozi).

The Room magazine Issue #13 out now!

How amazing does The Room’s 13th issue look? I just checked Models and I found this exclusive smattering of images from the new issue of this smashing hungarian magazine, besides the preview of some items: the interview to photo agent Tiggy Maconochie (Helmut Newton's agent for the past 20 years), the Marton Perlaki shooting and the American art scene described by David Benjamin Sherry are just some examples.
Take a peek!

You can also watch a video preview of The Room #3 here.

All The Room's covers before are stunning, so I thought to enclose them in the collage below.
